Installation
How to install
1. Go to our appexchange listing.
2. Click on "Get it now" button.
3. Enter your username and password for the Salesforce organization in which you want to install the package, and then click the login button.
4. Click on Install for All Users (this step is very important!).
5. Follow the configuration steps.
Do we have some days to test de application?
After install Logger, you will have a 30-day free trial.
Can we test Logger in a Sandbox org?
Yes, of course. You can work with Logger in any type of org and it is really easy to set up. Try it in your sandbox and install it in your preferred org. Just remember, you can only have one license by org.
Configuration
How do I create my rules?
1. When you installed the app, you should have selected "Install for All Users" but this doesn't mean that every user have access to set up the app. To do that, you will need to assign "S4G Logger Admin" to the users that will have access to set up the app.
2. Go to "S4G Logger"app or seach "Setup Logs" tab.
3. In the first module, "Object Settings", you can find "Log Rules" section. Here you have to click on "New Rule" button and set up your rule:
a. Select the object where you want to log your operations.
b. Select the operations (insert, update, delete, undelete).
f. Click on "Save" button.
How do I create my rules?
How do I deactivate a rule?
1. Go to "S4G Logger" app or seach "Setup Logs" tab.
2. Pick "Inactive" option in the Active list values.
3. Click on "Save" button.
How do I delete a rule?
1. Go to "S4G Logger" app or seach "Setup Logs" tab.
2. Click on "Remove" link for the rule you want to delete.
General Support
Payment model
Unfortunately Salesforce doesn’t allow us to receive payments through bank transference.
The application's payment model is based on a yearly subscription of 80€ per company per month (billed yearly), the payment is done directly through the Appexchange listing via the Salesforce checkout process in which you'll be asked for your credit card information when making the installation on your production org. We will send you an invoice when the trial period expires and the payment is done.
